The second EAG Autumn Halter Show, the only alpaca halter show to be held in East Anglia, will be on Sunday 20th October 2019.  After last year’s very successful and fantastically enjoyable halter show,  BAS Alpaca Show Judge, Tim Hey, commented:

Well done on bringing a new professional show to the UK. Thank you.

This year we are returning to Beechwood Equestrian Centre and invited Tim to be our judge.  We are looking forward to another great show.

Date: Alpacas to arrive Saturday 19th, Judging commences Sunday 20th October 2019

Open to the public on Sunday 20th October 9am to 5pm Free entry. No dogs allowed as strange dogs will stress the alpacas.

Entry fee: EAG members £26 per entry; non-members £30

Entries Open: 1st August 2019

Entries Close: EXTENDED TO SUNDAY 7th OCTOBER

Fan electric: £35 per hook up which allows a maximum of 3 fans

There is a compulsory Pen clean up charge of £30, this saves you having to clean out your pen after the show finishes. However, if the pen is cleaned before you leave & hurdles dismantled, you will be refunded.

Entries can be made through the BAS website, ‘manage my herd’ section.

There is a cafe at Beechwood, which is open all day Sunday and there will be a light evening meal with a pub quiz on Saturday evening (must be booked in advance).
