Entries for the East of England Fleece Show 2023 are now open!

How to enter

It is time to sort through your fleeces and get your entries in for this year’s show. Fleeces can be entered through the Grassroots online pedigree registry here.

Prizes awarded

All age categories and colours are catered for, and don’t forget, there are rosettes from 1st to 6th place for both huacaya and suri. There are also prizes for Supreme Champions, Best of British, Judges Choice and Best skirted. In addition there are special awards available for the best fleece from an EAG member and best fleece from a new exhibitor to fleece shows.

You may even be lucky enough to win the Silver Senior Rosette for the oldest alpaca to achieve a high scoring fleece, or the Spirit of the Industry trophy, awarded to the fleece that exemplifies those qualities that will most benefit the British Fibre Industry as it strives to maximise the potential of British alpaca fibre.

New for this year! – membrane provided for noodling fleeces

This year we have decided to provide all entrants with membrane for noodling fleeces. The membrane will be of a standard size and weight which will help to streamline the weighing in process. It will also help the stewards when laying out the fleeces for judging.

Entry fees

£18 EAG members

£24 non-members

Prices include membrane and postage, the BAS Show levy & VAT on the levy. Fees collected by EAG who will invoice exhibitors direct – treasurer@easternalpacagroupuk.org
