Drum roll please! After a whirlwind weekend of judging, stewarding and fibre testing we are ready to announce the winners of this year’s East of England Fleece Show. Full results will be available on the BAS website shortly.

Awarded to the fleece that exemplifies the qualities that will most benefit the British Fibre Industry as it strives to maximise the potential of British Alpaca Fibre. Only fleeces of alpacas three years and over will be considered and the judge will look for a demonstration of superiority in commercial traits. In particular, fineness, uniformity of all traits, staple length and weight. The trophy will be held by the winner for one year.
