The Highwayman once again provided tasty food and the venue for our January Social Event. As our chairman Rob Wales explained, Jo Bridge has had to step down as Shows Representative but Harley Laver has enthusiastically taken up the challenge. 
Harley got straight to work by signing up volunteers for the Fleece Show.
After the meal we adjourned to a rather chilly conservatory where Simon Illett from Moat Alpacas took up an improvised gavel to auction off the services of 8 great studs, all standing in our region. Their owners had all agreed to donate 40% (or in the case of Berryfields and Lopham 100%) of the stud fee to support EAG.
The auction raised £906 which will go towards the reserves for a future halter show.
